Grievances
It’s OK — You Don’t Have to Hold It All Together Anymore
Sometimes it’s not trauma in the obvious sense. It’s just a quiet build-up over time. The unresolved stuff. The words you swallowed to keep the peace. The grief you buried because life had to keep going. The people you forgave too quickly. The way you pushed through even when something inside you felt heavy. It doesn’t explode — it just stays there. In your body. In your breath. In the way certain memories still catch you off guard.
Maybe it’s about someone you lost. Maybe it’s an old relationship that ended without closure. Maybe it’s just years of always being the one who holds it all together. You carry it, quietly, because that’s what you’ve had to do. But the cost adds up. You feel tired in a way that rest doesn’t fix. Distant, even when you’re surrounded by people. Like a part of you went quiet just to survive.
This space isn’t about digging for pain. It’s about listening to what’s still alive in you. The weight you’ve been holding. The stories you never told. The emotions that never had a safe place to land. You don’t have to unpack it all at once. You just need a space that finally lets your system breathe again.
In our sessions, we don’t push for closure or rush into forgiveness. We slow things down. We let your system lead. Sometimes that means meeting anger you were never allowed to feel. Sometimes it’s grief you didn’t realise was still sitting just under the surface. Sometimes it’s just the relief of finally being in a space where you don’t have to hold it all in.
We use tools like hypnotherapy, subconscious work, and nervous system support to help your body release what it’s been carrying — not by reliving it, but by creating space for it to soften. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly. You don’t have to fix it all. You just need to feel safe enough to feel what you’ve been suppressing. That’s what starts the shift. That’s when things begin to move. Not because you’re trying — but because you’re finally allowed to let go.
Whether we work online or in person at my peaceful therapy space in Bury St Edmunds, the process is always paced for you. There’s no pressure. No performance. Just calm, personalised support to help your system finally slow down and receive what it’s needed for far too long — real, uninterrupted rest.
