That stuck feeling isn’t about a lack of willpower. It’s your subconscious trying to protect you. Somewhere along the way, your system learned that this thing — whatever it is — gives you relief. Control. Comfort. Even just a moment of peace. And until that part of you learns a new way to feel safe, the pattern keeps repeating.
